Virtual Coaching for Scheduling Teams

Virtual coaching can be used to supplement scheduling workshops or to consult school teams working through the schedule review process. A CLS Associate would develop the support plan with district or school administration based on needs and desired outcomes.

Building From the Beginning 

Are you new to master scheduling? This online workshop provides the basics for the building of master schedules. This workshop is for schedulers with little to no experience who are new to looking at staffing allocations, minutes, courses, and other scheduling structures. In this workshop you will learn the basics of how to allocate time and sections to start your master scheduling.  

Setting Priorities for Your Master Schedule 

This online workshop will determine your scheduling “why” and set key priorities as determined by the team through the completion of a robust data dive.  Participants will engage in reviewing and/or creating data to guide their scheduling process facilitated by a set of key questions that relate to specific aspects of school schedules.  This master class will help those who are looking to move to a more responsive schedule centered around the specific needs of your students.  

Ensuring Equity in Your Master Schedule 

This master class will help schools evaluate their current scheduling practices and help them identify issues of equity and access in their schedules.  Participants will strategically review practices and policies that are limiting access in their current schedules and work through scheduling solutions. This master class will also facilitate collaboration and sharing among participants to provide a network of equitable schedulers. 

Ideas To Facilitate Your Responsive Schedule 

This master class will help schools who are looking to make changes in their schedule by changing time or number of periods.  Participants will explore a wide variety of schedule options and how they can be modified to meet the unique needs of your school.  This master class will help those who are looking to make their most of their schedule and staffing to facilitate learning and teacher collaboration.  Teams will have guided work time and small group instruction as needed.  This master class will also facilitate collaboration and sharing among participants to provide a network of responsive schedulers.
