Kayce Cook brings over two decades of experience at the national, state, district, and classroom levels. In her current administrative role at the state level, Kayce coordinates the development and implementation of English-language arts academic standards and supplemental resources. She also oversees the design and delivery of responsive, data-informed professional development in the areas of ELA, social studies, and world languages.

Kayce is a trained teacher clarity facilitator, certified in cognitive coaching and PLC coaching, and has taught graduate-level courses in cross-content and secondary literacy practices. She has coauthored an article in Palmetto Administrator spotlighting how professional teams focused on cultivating teacher capacity and teacher behaviors contribute to enhanced student outcomes. 

Kayce's academic journey includes a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s in conflict resolution, focusing on conflict management and human behavior. Currently pursuing a doctoral degree in organizational leadership as a 2024 candidate, her research is centered on impacting statewide educational outcomes.
